CONSENSUS & COORDINATION - VTIA's committees provide a forum for member discussion that leads to coordination and consensus on issues affecting the industry. The needs and special issues of the members are regularly addressed through VTIA's strong committee network.

Consumers, legislators, regulators and various state and federal agencies also can receive industry consensus through VTIA's committees.

EDUCATION - VTIA conducts and coordinates a variety of educational programs during the year, often bringing in experts and awarding Continuing Education Units. BUSINESS PLANNING - VTIA members conduct meetings to review business plans that affect the industry. Watch the VTIA calendar for announcement of these meetings.

ADVOCACY - VTIA represents the membership before legislative and regulatory bodies at the state and national levels on industry issues of common concern.

NETWORKING - Through VTIA meetings, the VTIA Directory and the VTIA web site, industry members gain access to each other.

NEWS & INFORMATION - VTIA keeps its members apprised of happenings in the industry and within the organization through its newsletter, web site, action alerts and publications. In addition, the association keeps various statistical and other industry information on file and performs industry-related research for members and state and federal agencies.
